Demand for Trace’s services hit an all-time high in 2015. We needed to move quickly and grow fast, but had to be careful not to affect our culture or quality in the process.
To address this challenge, we launched Trace’s Talent Development department – with one of our most senior artists at the helm. The department recruits recent graduates from VFX schools and puts them through a rigorous training program. The goal is to school them in Trace’s methods and techniques to ensure quality deliveries on time, every time.
The division has been in operation for only five months and has already trained numerous batches of hand-picked artists. The small batch size ensures each trainee gets the personal attention required to be successful at Trace.
